Welcome to Eduboom! These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the general rules, access, and manner of use of the Eduboom online learning platforms, accessible via web interface on the respective national domains and through the Eduboom mobile application.
In all countries where the platforms are accessible, the owner of the Platform, the Software, and the Documentation, as well as the sole Provider of the digital services, is the company "Ucha.se" EOOD, registered in the Republic of Bulgaria, VAT No. BG202294245, with its registered office and management address at: Sofia, postal code 1407, 14 Srebarna Str., floor 2.
I. Introduction
- The Provider provides a digital service allowing access to educational content via the Internet upon registration, and for certain content — against payment of a subscription.
- The Platform has an exclusively educational purpose and does not constitute official training, a state-recognized qualification, or professional advice.
- Any registration, access, or use of the Platform constitutes unconditional binding and acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please discontinue the use of the services.
II. Definitions
- Platform: The Eduboom online learning system, including the websites of the respective domains and the mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Content: All video lessons, educational tests, audio recordings, texts, graphics, comments, and other digital materials available on the Platform.
- Software: All software technology, interfaces, updates, and packages provided for the operation of the Platform.
- Documentation: All digital or printed manuals, instructions, technical information, and legal documents owned by the Provider.
- Registration: The action of creating an individual User Profile ("Profile").
- Subscription: The right to a time-limited and paid access to the full functional Content of the Platform.
III. Intellectual Property and Protection
- Exclusive Rights: The Platform, Content, Software, and Documentation are the exclusive property of "Ucha.se" EOOD. The granted right of use is personal, non-exclusive, limited, and non-transferable solely for educational and personal purposes.
- DRM Protection: All video content is protected by digital rights management (DRM) technology, preventing unauthorized downloading, recording, or modification. Circumvention of protection leads to blocking of access and legal liability.
- Prohibition of TDM (Text and Data Mining): It is explicitly prohibited to perform automated text and data analysis, as well as any data scraping from the Platform for personal, commercial, or scientific purposes, without explicit written permission.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): The Provider uses artificial intelligence technologies to generate certain audio and visual elements in lessons in order to improve the learning experience. All materials undergo mandatory human review by content creators.
IV. General Rules for Registration and Conduct
- Profile: Registration is free. Each User has the right to only one individual Profile. Sharing access or activation codes with third parties is prohibited and leads to blocking.
- Use of Functionalities: Users participate in general rankings by accumulating XP points from learning pro-activity. The Platform sends weekly activity reports via email, unless the service is deactivated.
- User Conduct (UGC): When writing comments under video lessons, users are obliged to maintain a good tone and politeness. Offensive content, harassment, or harming the reputation of the Platform are not tolerated and lead to the deletion of the comment or the Profile.
V. Profile Deletion and Termination
- Right to Deletion: Each user has the right at any time, without stating a reason, to delete their Profile directly through the available menu in the settings of the application or the website, or by sending an email to the respective support.
- Data Deletion: Deletion of the Profile leads to complete erasure of access and associated personal data within the statutory period under GDPR and/or local laws, unless their storage is required by law (e.g., for financial audits upon purchases).
VI. Subscriptions and Payments
- Part of the functionalities and content of the Platform are accessible only after purchasing a paid Subscription.
- The Subscription can be purchased through various payment methods and providers, including payment cards or other payment services supported for the respective country. The available types of subscriptions, payment currency, prices, validity period, conditions for automatic renewal (if applicable), and supported payment methods may vary depending on the country and the chosen method of purchase.
- Unless specified otherwise, the Subscription enters into force after successful confirmation of the payment or after activation via a valid access code and provides access for the period specified at its purchase or activation.
- Detailed information regarding the types of Subscriptions, prices, currency, payment methods, terms for automatic renewal, withdrawal, termination, and all applicable specific conditions is available on the "Subscriptions" page of the respective national Eduboom platform.
VII. Right of Withdrawal
- Where applicable law provides such a right, the user has the right to withdraw from the contract for a purchased Subscription within a period of 14 (fourteen) days from its conclusion, without stating a reason.
- If, before the expiry of this period, the user explicitly requests the provision of the digital service to begin immediately and receives access to the content, the right of withdrawal may be limited or waived in cases provided for by applicable law.
- The terms and conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal, as well as all national specificities, are described in the regional General Terms and Conditions for the respective country.
VIII. Termination and Restriction of Access
- The Provider has the right to temporarily restrict or permanently terminate access to the Profile, without prior notice, when it establishes or has reasonable grounds to believe that the User:
- uses the Platform for fraudulent purposes;
- abuses the provided functionalities;
- provides access to their Profile to third parties in violation of these Terms;
- violates intellectual property rights;
- uses the Platform for illegal purposes or in violation of applicable law;
- uses automated means, including bots, scripts, robots, or other similar technologies;
- performs or attempts to perform reverse engineering, decompiling, modification, circumvention of technical protective measures, or other unauthorized impact on the Platform or Software.
- If necessary, the Provider may also take other appropriate technical and legal measures to protect the Platform, Content, and the rights of other users.
IX. Limitation of Liability
- The Provider exerts reasonable efforts to ensure the continuous operation of the Platform, but does not guarantee that the services will be available without interruption or technical malfunctions.
- The Provider is not liable for temporary unavailability or limited functionality of the Platform when they are the result of:
- planned maintenance, updates, or technical support;
- accidents, technical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances;
- force majeure events;
- interruption or malfunction of internet or electronic communication services;
- problems, restrictions, or malfunctions of Apple App Store, Google Play, or other external platforms;
- malfunctions or failures of payment providers or other independent third parties.
- This clause does not limit the rights of users that cannot be limited under applicable law.
X. Protection of Personal Data and Cookies
- The processing of personal data in connection with the use of the Platform is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the respective national Eduboom platform.
- The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the Cookie Policy applicable to the respective country.
- The User can at any time familiarize themselves with the current versions of the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy through the respective national Eduboom platform.
XI. Amendment of the General Terms and Conditions
- The Provider has the right to amend and supplement these General Terms and Conditions when necessary due to changes in applicable legislation, development of the Platform, introduction of new functionalities, changes in the services provided, or for other valid reasons.
- The current version of the General Terms and Conditions is published on the Platform and enters into force from the date specified in it, unless applicable legislation requires otherwise.
- When required by applicable legislation or when the changes significantly affect the rights and obligations of users, the Provider notifies users in an appropriate manner before they enter into force.
- The continuation of the use of the Platform after the entry into force of the amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated General Terms and Conditions, except when applicable legislation requires explicit consent.
Specific Regional General Terms and Conditions
All specific user rights, applicable legislation, age for valid digital consent, partnering local organizations, and dispute resolution bodies are determined in accordance with the country you have chosen when launching the Platform.
- Poland (eduboom.pl) — Terms and conditions. "Ucha.se" EOOD cooperates with the "Educational Progress" Foundation (Fundacja "Educational Progress", a non-profit organization, VAT No. 206629087) for non-profit and educational activities on the territory of Poland. If the user is under 14 years of age, registration and acceptance of the GTC are performed by a parent/guardian. For persons between 14 and 18 years of age, the consent of a parent is required. The contract is governed by Polish law. Disputes are within the competence of the court at the place of residence of the user. Complaints can be submitted to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) in Warsaw.
- Greece (eduboom.gr) — Terms and conditions. Under Greek law, if the user is under 15 years of age, registration is performed by a parent; between 15 and 18 years of age — with consent. The user can turn to the European Consumer Centre in Athens for alternative dispute resolution. The contract is governed by Greek law.
- Albania (eduboom.al) — Terms and conditions. Users under 15 years of age register through a parent/guardian; between 15 and 18 years of age — with consent. Data is processed in accordance with the Albanian Law on Personal Data Protection (Law No. 124/2024). Complaints are referred to the Consumer Protection Commission (Komisioni për Mbrojtjen e Konsumatorit) in Tirana. Applicable law is Albanian.
- Hungary (eduboom.hu) — Terms and conditions. Persons under 14 years of age register through a parent. Hungarian law governs the relationship. Complaints can be addressed to the National Consumer Protection Authority (GVH) in Budapest.
- Serbia (eduboom.rs) — Terms and conditions. Data is processed in accordance with Serbia's Law on Personal Data Protection (ZZPL — Official Gazette of RS No. 87/2018). Under 14 years of age — by a parent, between 14 and 18 years of age — with consent. The relationship is governed by Serbian law, and complaints are submitted to the National Consumer Organization of Serbia (NOPS) in Belgrade.
- Turkey (eduboom.tr) — Terms and conditions. The Platform does not have a local Turkish legal entity. The contract is concluded directly with "Ucha.se" EOOD, but is governed and interpreted in accordance with Turkish law and the mandatory norms for consumer protection in the Republic of Turkey. Data processing complies fully with the Turkish Law on Personal Data Protection No. 6698 (KVKK). Persons under 14 years of age register through a parent.
